Everyone has something to give.
Three questions run through the whole week. Answer one now. Your post appears on the wall right away, and posts help shape what we hear, celebrate, and commit to on November 18.
Tompkins Today & Tomorrow Initiative
Give, then challenge a friend.
In late 2024, a group of local advisors and volunteers embarked on the meaningful first steps to grow the Tompkins Today & Tomorrow Endowment, quietly and intentionally laying the groundwork for an initiative that will strengthen our community’s future. These dedicated committee leaders and advisors continue to bring deep expertise, broad relationships, and genuine passion for Tompkins County.
The Community Foundation can do so much more with your help. Your investment in the Tompkins Today & Tomorrow Endowment will grow a permanent source of grantmaking, mobilizing more resources to empower nonprofits and enrich more lives throughout Tompkins County. Now and for every generation to come.
Every gift made to the TTT Endowment on November 18 counts towards our goal of raising $4M.

Questions
What is Community Foundation Week?
It's a national celebration of community foundations, held every November 12–18. Here in Tompkins County, it's seven days of free events, in person and online, where we listen to our community, share stories, serve together, and celebrate local generosity.
How do I RSVP?
Tap any day in the program, then the RSVP button in its details. Each RSVP is a short form. Online events like the storytelling series and Back 2 Basics need no RSVP; for Let's Talk, register on Zoom.
I can't attend. How can I still take part?
Post on the Community Wall, share a story on November 13, join "I Am a Philanthropist" on Facebook on November 15, follow Back 2 Basics online on November 17, or send Philanthropy Flowers to an organization that has made a difference for you. You can also give to Tompkins Today & Tomorrow anytime and challenge a friend to do the same.
What happens to what I share?
Foundation staff read every wall post and Philanthropy Flowers submission. Wall posts appear right away, and staff may remove any that break our community guidelines. We'll share themes from what we heard at the closing celebration on November 18, and they'll help shape our future work. Philanthropy Flowers submissions stay private unless we have permission to share them.
How do I become a community grant reviewer?
Community members help read proposals and decide where funding goes. Email Gloria Coicou at gcoicou@cftompkins.org to express interest, and catch Back 2 Basics on November 17 for an inside look at how review works.
